SUMMARY:SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
DESCRIPTION:The Sydney International Boat Show was launched as a standalone event in 1968. The first boat show site was at the Horden Pavilion at Moore Park\, where it remained until 1985. \nThe show ventured to a temporary facility in Pyrmont from 1986 to 1988\, where an on-water component was introduced. These three years laid the foundation for what would be a long stint at the nearby Darling Harbour. \n1989 was a milestone year with the opening of the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. This large\, first-class facility had the added benefit of Cockle Bay being a short walking distance. The show grew immensely in Darling Harbour for 25 years until 2013. \nThe major upgrade of Darling Harbour started soon after the show in 2013\, which meant relocating to a temporary facility at Glebe Island for three years from 2014 to 2016.  It also meant a split show\, with the now very large and popular marina component in Cockle Bay\, and a ferry service transporting show guests between the two locations. \nThe show returned to Darling Harbour for it’s 50th edition in 2017. Since this time\, the undercover displays are located within the spacious International Convention Centre\, Sydney\, and the spectacular marina displays just minutes away on Cockle Bay. \nThe Sydney International Boat Show is located in the heart of Darling Harbour. Held at the ICC Sydney and Cockle Bay Marina\, it is easily accessible by public transport\, including light rail\, ferry and train and is only a 10-minute walk from Central and Town Hall train stations. Secure car parking is available and conveniently located within the Darling Harbour precinct.

DESCRIPTION:Orust Sailboat Show with Öppet Varv – Sweden’s largest sailboat show. \nOrust Sailboat Show with Open Yard is organized in Ellös and is mainly a sailboat and accessory fair. But this year\, a number of motorboats are also exhibiting as the Marstrand Motorboat Show has taken a break. \nThe fair has free entry and free parking on the Hallberg-Rassy site in Ellös. \nExhibiting sailboats of all makes are welcome\, as well as used sailboats by professional brokers and peripherals. \nFor the public and exhibitors\, hot and cold food and drinks are available both in the shipyard area and immediately outside the area. The Hallberg-Rassy shipyard on the site will be open as usual during the fair. \nOrganized by Sweboat \nThe fair at Orust is organized by Sweboat in collaboration with Hallberg-Rassy with the aim of showing the entire industry’s collective range of sailboats and sailboat accessories in one place. \nSweboat \nSweboat is the boat industry’s national association and has long experience of organizing well-attended and successful fairs for the industry. And if you come with a group\, there are special arrangements so you can get a real ‘behind the scenes’ tour with all the details. \nThe 39th edition of the Hiswa te Water will take place in 2024 at\, of course\, Bataviahaven Lelystad. The port will once again be transformed into the Valhalla for every type of water sports enthusiast. As it looks now\, the harbour will again be completely full and all stands on the quay and in the large entrance tent will be occupied. Like no other fair\, the Hiswa te Water will become the event where you can inform and orientate yourself about everything nautical water sports have to offer
